casual means different things to different people. A man may feel that your 4th of July for the brunch is casual dress and excitedly rush straight to the back of his closet to grab the jeans he uses to mow the lawn, the very worn Birkenstocks had since college and his vintage AC / DC t-shirt. Yet another man may panic and throw your hands in front of the wife yells, "What the hell is casual?'m On a promotion and now I have to worry about what the term means? There's too much on my plate! Choose for me I'm out! "Yet another man will soon browse its latest issue of GQ magazine and see what casual dress that can recreate the clothes in her closet. Yes, this man exists. I have a husband like this and, no, sir, our marriage is very stable and loving and is not at stake.
Many men fits the description of a man in the second scenario that panic wondering what casual means. Unfortunately, it will take a little 'detective work to figure out how you can get casual clothes, depending on the situation at hand. If you are just hanging out with friends to shoot a little 'swimming pool and drinking a few beers, sure you could do what he did before the first guy and go straight to your connected equipment, but if you are no longer in college and in actually managed to land a full-time job with responsibilities, do not make the tragic mistake of replacing "casual" with "messy". Remember when your mother told you how you dress is a reflection of you? Like most things, he was right. How about that famous quote from Deion Sanders (former NFL star), "When I look good, feel good and when I feel good, play well and when I play well, I pay well. Of course, this does not mean you look like a GQ model every time you leave your front door, but a little effort to classify your normal casual wear may well be the thing that puts a spring back in your step. As with business and formal wear, all it takes to make your casual wardrobe are a couple of points that can be mixed and matched to the right situation: great jeans, khakis, tailored shirts, cuff links in sterling silver, the right set of ties and nice shoes.
For casual wear, the right pair of jeans is a must. Slim-leg or boot-cut jeans are the way to go, even if the most recent fashion trends have tended toward the former as thin seems to be in. Now, I'm not mistaken slim-fit for the infamous "skinny jeans" you may have seen. Sure, fashion designers of "Project Runway" and the most important rock star can get away with these jeans, but if you're not a guy who is natural (or because you are abusing heroin) less than 110 pounds, so steer clear of this trend fashion. Stick with a medium or dark rinse jeans for your slim-leg jeans and avoid the tears that are produced in the knees or butt region. After all, we live in the new millennium, not 1980. Coupled with a better (read: not torn or faded) t-shirts and some new Pumas or Adidas sneakers, these jeans will look great when just hanging out with friends. If you want to dress up the look a bit ', paired with a blazer, a solid colored shirt buttons, some twins and a sassy pair of sneakers on better looking (though you'll want to avoid shoes brighter interview).
You will also want to invest in a few pairs of khaki pants or even a khaki suit. Unlike the more conservative, more formal black suits or blue, khaki clothes can be dressed down a bit 'more for a casual look. Do you want to look completely modern and yet completely relaxed? Try a khaki suit, which has a more subtle with his pants that sport a front plate. You can choose to pair this with a thin tie (or less) and a nice slim fitting white shirt, you look like you walked right off the set of Ocean's 11 (or 12 or 13). The voice of a beach party? In terms of color, do not have to stick with the light brown color that we are all accustomed to. khaki pants have a wide range of colors, so choose a few pairs of different shades.
The center will help round out your casual wardrobe. As the white button-down shirt for formal wear, the Polo is the backbone of casual clothing for men. This preppy addition to your wardrobe has never gone out of fashion and is versatile as chinos. Polos can be paired with cargo shorts and sandals for a beach look, khakis and dress shoes for an office look or a blazer and jeans for a casual look. With a wide range of colors and an infinite number of sellers, polo shirts can be found that are right for your body type and skin tone. With only a few additional pieces for your wardrobe, you will be able to go from your normal casual wear torn jeans and faded t-shirt to a more modern version of casual wear.
